WhatsUp Gold provides full support for SNMP and WMI network management. And with WhatsUp Gold's capability to monitor down to the individual interface level providing support for both 32 bit and 64 bit counters, even the highest speed interfaces can be monitored without losing critical data.
WhatsUp Gold lets you quickly add monitors with just a mouse click. Fully customizable high-performance monitors are available for any device, system or service. Monitor types include:

- Active script performance monitors (jscript and vbscript)
Pre-configured Network Monitors
In addition to the customizable monitors you can implement using WhatsUp Gold, a number of pre-configured monitors provide a head-start to gaining control of your network as quickly as possible, right-out-of-the-box.
Bulk Field Changes
Bulk field monitors enable rapid deployment or changing of monitors to any number of systems that have common network monitoring requirements, for example; 10 3560-E Cisco® switches. The bulk field change capability in WhatsUp Gold allows monitoring parameters to be quickly deployed or changed without touching each monitor individually, saving time and effort.
